Very useful for university students as it’s located right in the middle of the campus (Mind it, Tsukuba campus is huge, so it might not seem close to Ichinoya dormitories, rather Oikoshi and Hirasuna people will find it closer to them). You will find grocery, fruits, drinks, frozen meats, bakery, and dairy products (except butter and cheese, which is a bit perplexing. I haven’t seen bread anywhere, or have I missed it?). The price is at a little bit to the upper end, yet lower than convenience stores, so again, useful for students. But the most interesting part is, this is probably the first 'cashless' shop in Tsukuba. You need to pay through credit card or debit card, and if you are like me who has neither, you can collect a "Waon card" from the same store for 300 yen. Read moreUniversity Kasumi is always one of my option since it’s closer to University and cheaper (not as Trial Tsukuba though) but the fruits are sometimes bit cheaper (mostly apple) and you can get special cheapest egg in all over Japan (one pack for one person only). They have nice places inside to sit inside and outside as well. The first Kasumi ever to have FREEEE WIFI !!!! 😁 Next to Kasumi when new semester starts there will be bike showroom may be from Aeon but those are not much cheaper (go for online as per my view).
