Saza Café at the University of Tsukuba is truly a wonderful place to visit. I had the pleasure of enjoying their delicious strawberry chocolate cake — it was absolutely juicy and full of flavor. The café latte was beautifully crafted by their executive barista, with stunning latte art that made the experience even more special. The quiet, relaxing atmosphere was perfect for my wife and me to unwind and enjoy our time together. Saza Coffee is the University's flagship coffee and it's pretty good. The atmosphere is the typical "roaster cafe" aesthetic that some Starbucks shops use but there is a lot less branding. They sometimes have coffee tastings here.

You can get a pretty good cup of whatever coffee you like (hot, latte, iced, etc.) and some decent desserts, soups, and sandwiches. It's pretty expensive, however, and the restaurant is quite crowded at times.
