I had a great experience shopping at Yokohama. I am an American living in Japan. I moved into my house not too long ago and was looking for more of an "American" sized Sofa. I stopped in he Ashley Furniture store and was immediately welcomed and then helped by Uemura-San. He spoke great English which made it easy to communicate. He helped me find the perfect sofa. I took a few days to think about and decided to take the couch i looked at. I reached out to Uemura-san through email and he responded to me through text. He informed me it was out of stocked, then later told me he could get it from another store in a different prefecture. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the sofa I wanted. I then decided I wanted a tv stand, and he provided me everything they had in stock. I found the one i wanted and he helped me purchase that as well. I was struggling to find the right size rug for my living room because I’m use to sizing in the United States. I went to Ashley furniture in Yokohama and as soon as I walked in Uemura greeted me and gave me a run down of the store and where I could find the rug I wanted as well as other options. He gave me plenty of space to shop but checked on me and answered my questions when I had them. He ended up finding me the perfect rug and even assisted me with directions on the day of pick up at the warehouse. Not only was he professional and welcoming but he was very knowledgable in Ashley’s products. He also has a great eye for design! I will definetly be back to work with Umera San to design my patio this summer. My wife and I were welcomed as soon as we entered the store. Kaji-san was was very helpful throughout our shopping experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding. My wife did most of the communication but Kaji-san understood lots of my English. We did not know, but the Ashley store and Song Dream store are connected and associated with each other. Prices range quite a bit but all seem very competitive. We ended up purchasing a few things. These 2 stores will now be our go-to furniture shops. We will...
