My partner and I were very disappointed with our experience, and surprised considering the glowing reviews. We each booked hot oil aromatherapy massages.

The receptionist was rude and explained her frustration when she couldn't reach me by phone. She was further frustrated because we booked massages one immediately after the other - which was offered on their website - despite us repeatedly offering a break for the massage therapist between the two sessions. She was intimidating and blunt, and made us feel stressed prior to our massages when it was supposed to be a relaxing experience.

As soon as the massage therapist walked in she began the massage. No greeting and neither of us were asked a single thing - nothing on existing injuries, goals, areas to focus on/avoid, medications, pressure preferences, confirmation of type of massage booked, etc. It seems the exact same, untailored massage is performed on everyone, regardless of their needs. When I voluntarily told her my needs, I was told I shouldn't be getting a massage - yet she proceeded to do it anyway without saying another word. It was very unpersonalised, unfriendly, unwelcoming and unprofessional, and shocking that basic health needs were not covered.

We were also never asked at any point during the massage if pressure was okay. I had to tell her twice to reduce pressure as it was too much. She never said anything when I did so I don't even know if she heard me. Pressure was still too much after but I couldn't bring myself to tell her again.

My partner also found pressure to be excessive and became tense from the pain multiple times. Instead of asking if he was okay or if she should reduce pressure, she told him to "relax".

At the end of the massage, she simply said "thank you", immediately left and closed the door, without asking me how it was. I think she must have said no more than 10 words from start to end - all one-word responses to my questions. She entered and left so quickly that neither of us even saw what she looked like. It felt like we were both a burden to the staff and they just wanted to rush to get us out of there so they could go home.

Both of our massages also appeared to be regular hot oil rather than aromatherapy. Unnecessary single-use plastic is used for every patient.

Not even an hour before my appointment, they changed my appointment. Which I didn't know until I got there. And, I told them I couldn't have the longer appointment shift because I had to leave at a given time. So we shortened the appointment. Except, we didn't. Somehow it took even longer than it was supposed to. So. An hour late for my other appointment after because apparently we can change schedules at a whim? I mean the client can't, but the place can. And I would have pointed it out to them and stopped, but no clock I can see until the end. Though the alarm that went off about halfway through that she hit ignore on makes me really wonder. The massage itself, fine, but the massage therapist should really trim and soften their nails. Pretty sure the oil is the only reason my skin didn't...

I had a great experience! If you are particular about your massages, then maybe this place is not the best spot for you. I, on the other hand, am neither talkative nor demanding during massages, and I found this place to be perfect.

The atmosphere was very warm and comfortable. I chose the Oil Relaxing massage, and it was exactly that. The masseuse used a good amount of pressure and found all of my trouble spots. To me, the best masseuse needs no instructions, so I was pleased to just drift in and out of sleep throughout my time.

In the massage room, there is a shower to wash away the excess oils before getting dressed. Everything from shampoo/ conditioner to shower gel is provided for your use.

I would happily recommend this place to friends...
