Beautiful place! If you want to know the local Sabahans culture, you should visit this place. This place is known as the centre of cultural activities in Sabah. The most awaited festival every year is the Kaamatan Festival, held in May. The biggest reason why Kaamatan still relevant today is because of the Unduk Ngadau Beauty Pageant competition. It was my first time visiting this cultural centre. I was surprised by the decent yet exciting atmosphere, especially during the pre-Kaamatan and the day of the festival itself. Although it had been modernised with some modern gigs and performances, some of the architectural buildings, interior decorations and traditional games are still intact and I just got to know there are also few tribes and traditional houses in Sabah!! Really love the vibes and I wish I could experience the whole Harvest Festival...
