I find the fish noodle very interesting and really like texture, it’s literally like fish ball but in noodles shape. The bounciness and fish taste are all to my liking except for the seasoning to it. It tastes like shallot oil but I feel it doesn’t taste really good as a dried noodle dish. Perhaps will order soup version next time.
Also had their clear fish fillet soup, it’s more like teochew style and it tastes refreshing. But the plum in the soup still don’t fully cover the fish smell in the fish, so that’s what i think it could be improved.
The cracker was yummy, got the fishy taste and it really feels like they made them in house.
One of the famous pork free shop and really like how all different races dine in...
Read moreNice tomyam + fish mee. If u come to the shop 1st time, u may notice u need to que/wait (there are bench provided) to be seated as most of the times the tables are full. U need to look out for the waiter/waitress to inform/signal how many of u are going in.. 2ndly, if u do not know what to order, just order fish kolo mee/tuaran mee (i confused with the name) with tomyam (u may select to mixed the item inside it such as fishcake, fish content and prawn, if want to put only 1 selection also can). This tomyam a bit of spicy. Other than that they also provide clear broth, ermm another type of soup which is not spicy. But i didnt really like it but i see many customer order it too.n liking it.. overall...
Read moreTried the classic fresh fish slice mee hoon with ham choi soup is lack of flavour and fragrant. But the ingredients portion is plenty. I request for fish maw add on, of course is another extra charge of RM5-RM6. Quite lot of portion given. Total cost approximately RM18-RM19. Overall, not the best ham choi fish noodle in town, you want the best it will be at Tong Fung Restaurant located at Inanam.
Service is tip-top, took only 5 minutes for the food and drinks to arrive. They will provide you a mug of hot water to sterilise your utensils. Tables and seats quite spacious. Come before 8.30am to avoid peak hour if you're thinking of having breakfast here, so you could get parking...
