New Hung Xing Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Borneo

We've been to the restaurant once and have been taking away food few times already. Food was great the first few times. Fish was good. So we decided to keep them in our to go to list for seafood. So whenever i went out fishing, i would get my fish cooked here while ordering other dishes to come along. But today is going to be the last time. I brought in Tiger Coral Trout and have them steam it, most important part for a good fish is the skin, but somehow the skin was completely gone. Fish was overcooked and didn't seem fresh (mind you, i caught the fish myself, some suspicion there). Not sure what went wrong but it did not look good. Skin was suspiciously peeled out (the whole fish) and looked skinnier. Prawns were half the size of the prawns we got last time. Very disappointed and will go somewhere else...

Very surprised to find out Hung Xing moved here, perhaps they are trying to get the events crowd since it is located within KDCA. We used to eat at the old location in Eden Heights (where it was always packed), but the new location is quite empty 😅 We ordered sup sapak, fresh prawns and salted egg squid - all tasted same and tasty as last time.
