The prices of almost everything or anything being offered here for sale are without any price tags. The local veg market operated by the local natives are also not displaying any prices. What does the Ministry of Trade or the Local Municipal Council do to these ignorant Veg or Fruit Vendors. Almost all stalls are selling their Jungle products at very high n ridiculous prices. The least KRDC can do is to educate n let them know that it's an offense to sell or put on display for sell any article or food items at their stalls without price tags. Warning letters or fines should be imposed on the spot.
Tabuan Jaya's Hawker's Center n the Lundu Hawker's Centers are two other Markets not displaying Price Tags on their Food n Veggies n especially the Wet Market - Fish Mongers. I would suggest CCTVs to be installed at all Hawkers n Wet Marketplaces to monitor them as raids at the Hawker's Stalls are useless as most of the Hawkers have insider friends inside the Office to forewarn of any raids which are going to be conducted...
Read moreThe reason I gave 5 stars rating is because of its convenient to shop there as it's open space not only in the Market, but outside the open space where you can buy fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, chickens, cold storage stock and there're many domestic farmers selling their fruits & vegetables which are non pesticides in term of safety. After shopping, you can have cafes, (Kopitiam) food stalls, with at least a dozen of them operating before 5.00am. Plenty of foods to choose whether chinese/malay stalls, as it's like mega-mall in term of selections, qualities, & qualities, etc. Seasonal fruits like Durians can be found there in big quantities during its season! This is the place now & at time, where you can negotiate for cheaper rates if necessary especially during MCO for so long until now, 2020 to 2021+++++. Good...
