Am very disappointed about the service of the reception lady, Els club has the promotion during CNY period, while it’s put at the corner of the table and we didn’t notice it. When we asked her if there is any promotion, she said no and charged us full price. After we noticed the promotion flyer, she said the promotion is for 4 pax per flight, you only have 3 pax. I don’t know where comes the definition 1 flight must be 4 person, and it’s not mentioned on the flyer also. We proposed to talk to her manager, she asked us to look for phone number from Google. After that, we wrote an email to the club & asked for explanation, the explanation was when we made the booking, the promotion was not yet decided, thus their stuff didn’t give us the promotion rate. What???!!! I can’t believe this kind of reply from a famous golf club, means they give promotion to attract more customers, but if you are already on the hook, they just hide the promotion from you, really unbelievable, I will recommend all my golf friends not to come...

However, the course itself was quite sketchy. We can't find this course on our Garmin devices, so we had to play without it. Seems strange not to be able to find it given its status as an Els Club. Plus, there were no markers on the sides of the fairways. So kinda playing in the blind. Well, at least the buggy was equipped with a GPS, so we still can roughly estimate distances.
The 2nd nine fairways were quite horrible with damage here and there. We were told the course was closed down over the MCO period and just starting to be rehab. But by any chance, don't get into the rough as your ball will be buried under the thick and long bushes. Get ready for the fairways are longer than your usual courses.
It can be a pleasant place to golf if improvements are made to this place. But for now, we have seen many other better...
Read morePlayed here over a whole day. Was a foursome playing 36 holes from 9am till 6pm. All golfer were sub 20 handicappers and needed to be to get the most enjoyment out of the course.
If you are above 14HCP you are going to struggle as consistency off the tee and in the wind is paramount. This course has alot of water, bunkers and tricky angles.
Make sure you stock up on everything you need before you go as the course doesn't cater for people who need to reload, assuming you will pay the premium prices to play a named course.
The business could do with a better booking process as it took 8-9 attempts to get our booking right, we played both the Els Coast and Valley courses over two days. Even after booking we still had to negotiate with them over our version of unlimited golf and theirs.
Will...
