Lepak spot... A place to chill with friends and family, public beach shared with hotel visitors of Hard Rock Hotel and Westin. Sandy beaches, nice waves ( not high enough for surfing) plenty of trees for shades... Benches for merendek(couples sitting together as if they were magnets)

RM6 for parking per entry. Free public toilet- clean during off peak, can be sandy during peak season.

Drink and snack shack. Don't place your expectation high. Can be a little pricey. Also a souvenir shack with t-shirts and shorts/pants/beach wear for those who weren't planning for a dip.

Bicycle, jet ski and other rentals such as tubes(pelampung daaaa) available for rental.

Security guards in police bantuan uniforms (not as sexy as Baywatch, no Hasslehoff, no Zack Effron, no Pamela Anderson.. Even standard Yusoff Haslam in Gerak Khas also not available or seen on scene) is always on the lookout. Ambulance on standby during peak holiday periods.

Beach closes at 7pm unless there is a night event(new...

another one of those tourist traps that we caught on upon entry. caucasian boss owner of dash that enjoys control over the malaysian staff. we singaporean just walking around kind of take pity.. having a blonde clown asserting his small ego.. felt like puking and laughing at him even though it wasn’t directed as us. rm8 for you to park in dirt. prices roll up from there. even my partner immediately screamed “only red flags from here on outttt” in the car lmao

hopefully new and hospitable owner comes by and takes over ya.. the way we see how the local treated like dog.. haiz

beach is fairly ok as you can tell it’s the entire stretch. waters are well.. meh. business isn’t good on weekdays as far as we can tell. hopefully, local boss take over and we feel more local vibes, open up some street food/hawker fare

took some pics and left within 15mins. didn’t dare to visit toilets as well based on the outlook or litter on...

Scene is nice. Same as Tanjung Aru Sabah. Bigger than Klebang beach Malacca, and Batu Ferringhi, Penang. Wind is not consistent, not really suitable for kite. Suitable for picnic. Parking fees Rm 8, charge by Mat salleh. Is it it open to public, the beach should be free for public. There are still rubbish anywhere. They should make sure area are clean, toilet are clean for use, parking line are great, escort vehicles to park their vehicles. They just charge money and didn't provide relevant service. Nearby road not allow to park. And it mention will claim car if didn't pay for the parking. Recommend to go Tanjung Balau pantai with only rm3

Parking rate doesn't make sense at RM8, rubbish everywhere (LIKE ANYWHERE YOU SET YOUR EYES UPON) and super unclean. Don't ever dare to use the washroom. No food booth except for one big hut in the middle. Other booths only sell floats and kid's bubble thingy. Definitely one of the dirtiest beach I've visited in my entire life, literally ZERO MAINTENANCE. Shattered my imagination of one of most talked beach to visit in Malaysia but yeah it was met with disappointment. Biggest regret? Drove for almost one hour to get to this overrated thrashed place. Will not visit again UNLESS cleanliness and quality of place IMPROVED.
