One of my favourite wet markets in KL because it's dry and has enough variety in a small area. Open air, therefore less smell compared to internal ones. The best part is the people. The sellers are still mainly Chinese uncle and aunties, as opposed to foreign workers in many other places. So, we can easily talk to them and enjoy the conversation like the good old days. The food stalls are generally very good, and that's why even I shifted away from this suburb, I still come here a few times per week for my meals, see doctors in the clinic and buying the Chinese herbs from the experienced herbal shops. The feel of this place is like a giant family where we customers will purchase items because we felt that it's good to help these sellers earn a bit of living. The facade is changing and there's more modern bakeries and cafes popping up. As many young families are shifting from condos in Taman Midah to the landed property. Because family is growing and needed more space. Taman Midah being such a central location to KL city centre, is really nice place for the middle class. The landed houses are also in demand and most are renovated to be modern and with internal security. The Lotus's shopping mall is also very convenient if the wet market does not have certain items. Lastly, I advice people to support the wet market as this culture will be gone if we don't introduce it to the young generation. More aircond shopping malls being built, but we are not building the character of our young generation like we used to be. So, keep a spot for this place weekly, and it will keep us humane for a lifetime....

Opposite, is The lamping chicken seller , honest and nice, even share with you how to cook and help you to choose the chicken to cook in specific method. 5 stars. Beside, the vegetables seller aunty, nice honest and generous, I bought lotus root with mud, I asked for extra Grams, she just gave me a small root. 5 stars.
At the end of the alley, the pork butcher, seem nice . I bought 700g pork bone, after scales he said close to 800g, it's OK. However, when I came home and measure. the pork bone only have 650g, 20%less. I am speechless. I don't mind they sell at higher price, it's just wrong to cheat . 1 star.
