Limited parking and always a very busy area. Very old shop. People qué to order chicken. Rice. I ordered roast chicken drumsticks. Ok. My partner ordered steam white chicken. Ok too. Added siew yoke. The skin which was supposed to be crispy was super hard. Needs strong teeth to chew. Blanched Ipoh taugeh ok. All for 20 which is considered very cheap. Plenty of tables even though there are other normal hawker stalls. In the evening there is a tai chow. The shop owner who operates the drink has an attitude issue. No patient to wait for customers to think about what to drink. Just walk away after getting one order for 2 people. Read moreUsed to frequent here often. Corner coffee shop, breezy and not stuffy. Clean ambient and friendly staff. They have quite a number of stalls: Chicken rice, 'small fried' (loh mee, ying yong etc), various noodles (pan mee, claypot lou shi fun, pork noodle, prawn noodle, wantan mee). The chicken rice business is usually pretty good. Love the loh mee. Used to have another wantan mee noodle stall that was nice (moved to another coffee shop along the street/market/corner too). Finding a parking is not easy especially...

The broth was slightly creamy and aromatic 🍃 🍲 with flavour of fried onions and kaffir lime leaves. Slightly sweet, not spicy, and came with 5 big chewy fish paste 🐟. Milo Peng was RM3.80. The staff were friendly (even spoke to me in Cantonese though I don’t understand). Cutlery 🍴 and chili 🌶️ condiments are self-service. They even provided tissues, which made eating hot soup in Malaysia’s hot weather much more bearable, which was a nice touch. 🤧 🔥 Will definitely...
