I visited to Rangali few years ago and I stayed in a Superior Overwater Villa - very spacious with separate dressing room, open plan bathroom with separate shower. The interior is beginning to look a little tired but a full refurbishment is planned. My room was beautifully and thoughtfully maintained twice daily.Ā The service from all team members is nothing short of outstanding. Everyone constantly asks what more they can do for me and service is delivered with warmth, friendliness and sincerity. I was aware that this was a peak season and the resort virtually full, but I always felt as if I was the only guests to be looked after!Ā The presentation and quality of the food at the beach BBQ evenings was excellent as was the food in Mandhoo, Sunset Grill, Ithaa, Ufaa and Vilu. At each of these restaurants I received a very warm welcome and was treated like royalty. Thank you to all of the team members in each of these outlets for making me feel so special and looking after me so well.Ā Overall, the consistently high level and faultless service is amazing. The management team keep a close eye on the smooth running of the resort and regularly stop to chat and make sure that I am being well looked after.Ā I highly recommend this resort - in addition to the high service levels, the location is stunning and the food is excellent. It is expensive, but in my view, worth it. To everyone at Rangali, thank you so much for another magical and special stay - I canāt wait...

Great dives, amazing breakfast, the private dinner on a beach (with chef and buttler) were awesome in the truest meaning of the word. Underwater restaurant was highly overrated, and unfortunately we didn't get to see the whale sharks on the tour.. but that's how it is with wild animals :) the overwater Villa was amazing, jacuzzi, huge bathroom etc. Definitely have inroom breakfast once,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStill one of the most idyllic resorts we've stayed in. However, it recently went under new management, so who knows how it will change. One thing we have noticed is that the afternoon tea that used to be in the very elegant Mandhoo Restaurant, has now moved to the very public Rangali bar. I think it's in order to potentially attract more customers who may be willing to pay for the afternoon tea but sacrificing...
