Its the market of my childhood growing up Rose Hill until I was 26, it is sad to see how the place have not been maintained at all and nostalgic it is to see parts of it still the same, at least the municipality could look into its hygiene and cleanliness having a refuse truck park in front of the entrance at peak hours on a Sunday mid day when everyone is doing their buying is not the most appealing sight, common guys keep our beautiful town neat and...

Been at the place for multiple reasons....vegetable purchase ..meet a friend and look for a special item ..... the place was not too crowdy ..... as usual all vegetables and fruits as well as bread and fried cakes ...gateau piment .... you can also get pain a l ancienne at the best price ever compared to other places Sane as usual but with the addition of the tropical fruits like litchi...

Well nothing special really. It's just a market after all, with the convenience of being opened almost everyday. Although I reckon some of the prices are more expensive compared to Belle Rose market on Sundays for example.

That being said, one can find almost every vegetables and fruits as well. Without forgetting the "de l'eau coco" (at around Rs175 a litre) to quench your thirst in...
