This is the worst place ever for fishing. I would not recommend this place to anyone based off of my experience. Paid 800 for 4-1/2 hours of fishing and here is why.
At 645 am... Found the business but no one was there. Spent 20 minutes looking for them and they never said to meet at the marina. Finally found them. Spent another 20 to 30 minutes getting out of the marina while they stopped several times to soak to the friends. They also asked to get live bait but never got it on the way out.
At 750 am we finally getting out of the marina and 10 minutes later we were stopped by marina police. These guys didn't have any paperwork for boating or license to fish. Took an hour for them to verify and then we were off.
We were not given the missing hour that we spent waiting because of them. If they worked gave had their paperwork we wouldn't have had to wait. If they worked gave loaded the boat like others do we wouldn't have had to wait. We finally came back at 1pm and they also were very persistent on eating our fish. I don't care to split it with them while we were fishing. I really don't. So we decided to make ceviche. Gave them some to eat at 12. They spent that time prepping it and not assisting in fishing. They rarely changed luers and left it live bait that we caught in their boat and never used it as we asked. They were also drinking, a lot, while driving with my family in the boat. Not professional and not very safe for anyone.
They basically took 800 for 4-1/2 hours or less for actual fishing. I kept asking to go to certain areas and they would not. Such a rip off.. i wouldn't recommend...
Read moreTook the city tour of Puerto Vallarta today. We thought it would be an interesting tour and talk about the history of the city. Boy were we wrong. It turned out to be a shopping trip to a jewelry, leather, tequila, and candy store with a 10 min stop at some Catholic church. Whoopie! Next to no history of the area, unless you want to know about the fancy hotels being built or some movies that were made in the past. The brochure is beautiful but very deceiving. Spending half an hour at those shitty stores burned my ass. The tour guide seemed more interested in chatting to his friends along the way then being attentive to his tour group. This tour was a total waste of time and money. A real rip-off. It doesn't even deserve a one. Post Note, I received the company reply which can be seen below. I take it as lip service to appease me or anyone else reading this review because there is a previous review from 2 years prior that basically states the same as I have. The company didn't take them seriously, and I doubt I...
Read moreOur family had the best time on the city tour and would recommend it to anyone!
Miguel was the best part of the tour. He was very well informed about where we were and was not afraid to answer all the questions we had. He made sure to include what we wanted to see/do the most (in addition to the real coca cola for which he made a special stop) and put up with our crazy family with a smile. The day was a perfect mix of adventure, fun, history and the feeling of being able to see how the people of Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding communities lived. We were treated with kindness at all times and we felt very welcome. We laughed until we cried, we ate until we were full and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Miguel encouraged our limited use of Spanish and was a great teacher. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, experience or day. Thank you Miguel, you are the best! If you ever need an assistant tour guide to help you point out all the dogs and chickens, I can help you at any time!
