Mariscos 8 is a gem for seafood enthusiasts seeking an authentic Mexican dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting ambiance. The scent of freshly prepared dishes filled the air, heightening my anticipation for what was to come. The highlight of my dining experience at Mariscos 8 undoubtedly was the empanadas. Crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside, each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes. Only further complimented by a creamy, and spicy sauce. Whether filled with succulent shrimp or tender crab meat, these empanadas were a true testament to the skill and creativity of the chef. Accompanied by a tangy and refreshing ceviche, featuring perfectly marinated seafood and a medley of fresh vegetables, the meal was nothing short of perfection. Overall, Mariscos 8 exceeded all expectations, delivering a seafood meal that was as unforgettable as it...

This restaurant is a sold 4 star but doesn’t quite deliver enough to be a top notch dining spot. The food is excellent and the portions are generous.

One issue is that the restaurant takes no credit cards of any kind. Which is surprising for a restaurant of this size. The complimentary salsa is some of the worst I have tried. It’s watery and very spicy. There is also a salsa consisting of soy and onion which is awful.

They serve a really large portion of guacamole which is somewhat bland. But that’s easily remedied with all the hot sauces on the table.

I ordered the grilled octopus which was tender and favorable. My wife ordered mixed seafood and she was really pleased by the quality and portions.

The restaurant does an excellent job of combatting COVID. Patrons are temperature checked and ask to sanitize hands. Tables are spaced and all the staff wear masks. Finally the rest room...

What a unique experience. We stopped initially to have guacamole and a beverage. We watched while the young men made a bowl of veggies including cucumber, onion and avocado. Then they added meat...some type of seafood then poured and opaque solution over it all. They served many, many bowls and it seemed that was what the locals were eating. A few days later and several meals later we went back. I ordered a shrimp and scallop cocktail. Oh my. I believe it has been the best thing I've eaten since being here. Their hours are a bit quirky. They close at 6:00 p.m. They start turning people away at 5:45. Wonderful food,...

Came here on our last day for fresh seafood and we ordered the tuna sashimi special, the shrimp gobernador taco, the coconut shrimp and the special fish of the day, the fried red snapper. The tuna sashimi was more of a warm tuna ceviche with a dark sauce, the taco gobernador was ok, the biggest disappointment was the coconut shrimp which we specifically asked the waiter if it was fresh but when we received the dish, it was nothing more than frozen packaged coconut shrimp that you can get at Costco. It was a disappointment. The only thing that was a total star was the fresh red snapper, that one was fresh and delicious!
