No water each morning, the first time they got it going. The second day, we had to leave before they could get it going. One staff very helpful, the other was like a zombie with no personable skills. Bed is covered with mosquito netting and only a small table so no where to lay out your luggage to open it. It's a cabana, open to the jungle hence a 8 cm centipede crawled into our luggage and clothing so be careful reaching into your stuff. Ceiling fan not centered on the bed so not much air flow at night so it can be warm. Many places in Zipolite don't offer hot water. Just one faucet so it can be a bit chilly showering in the morning. Read moreWe had quite a strange stay here, its quite basic, and I would say not as nice as it looks in the photos. They have no night guard or anyone on duty at night, which is maybe normal for a small place like Zipolite, but there was another guest who started damaging the property in the night and there was noone around to deal with it. In the morning she did get removed by the police. Also, our mosquito net didnt close properly and we got bitten a lot, so maybe stay somewhere else unless you dont mind that.
