Nice clean beach, not a resort area but for Mexico it was just fine, water was clean and Sand is white. Restaurants are on the high side of prices I suggest you walk around before you get hooked on the beach lunch on the sand. It's good food but Windy and everything blows away from the table it's definitely not like the movies, it was by far the most expensive meal in Merida area I had and got the least amount of food. En las fotos publicadas ojo con ir al lugar marcado.. te roban literalmente en los costos los empleados de la playa cobrando te excesivamente por usar camastro sillas y sombrilla . Mínimo 1300 por 2 personas incluyendo casi 200 de propina que te agregan. .. y no son de los empleados de la playa que te atienden ya que ellos le rentan a otros hay mismo encareciendose más el costo. No aceptan pago de tarjeta solo transferencia. No recomendable quedarse allí. Por lo demás .. las gaviotas ya son una plaga voladora que no te deja comer a gusto en playa, y corrientes muy picadas por mucho viento.. solo se rescata que las aguas son cálidas y podes meterte hasta 20 metros mar adentro tranquilo pisando fondo. Definitely worth a visit of two, if only to gawk at the cruise ship tourists and all the services set up to serve them. Restaurants on the Malecon are overrated and overpriced, so keep your visit to having a cold beer and chips...
