Los Compadres Tacos — Restaurant in Progreso

Absolutely horrible! From the food to the service. My hubby ordered a pastor sandwich and it was mounds of meat! Way too much! Sometimes more is more. I watched the waitress pretend like she didn't understand our order when speaking Spanish, my husband who is gringo speaks & reads Spanish but she looked @ us like idiots. She did not treat us respectfully. I watched her eat Takis along w another young waiter while waiting for food to be delivered & putting her finger in her mouth.. then picking up plates, drinks to patrons. I was absolutely disgusted. She did not seem to care. I completely lost my appetite. She also brought us an extra plate (taco) that was not ordered & she insisted we did. I did not touch it due to it looking undercooked & old. She didn't seem to give AF about absolutely anything. There were locals dining there & was thinking.. everyone is going to wake up sick tomorrow because everyone's plate has Takis regurgitation on their plates. ABSOLUTELY...

Avoid at all costs! Looks good from the street but after eating here I got sooo sick for 2 days after with food poisoning. The pastor tacos were not even good, the waitress was a complete idiot and could have cared less about our business and was digging into her mouth just before she picked up and delivered our plates (witnesses by others and was told about it after I ate) likely the source of getting sick!

Find another place to eat unless you want to be treated poorly by the local 15 year old waitress with attitude who can't even get an order right and if you want to get sick to boot.

I often don't write poor reviews but this one needed to be put out there so that hopefully someone else does not have to...

Muy mal el personal, cero capacitación al parecer, llegué y nadie me recibió a pesar de haber pasado junto a una mesa de la entrada llena de empleados sentados platicando muy amenamente, me dirigí a una mesa y tampoco me ofrecieron el menú, tuve que levantarme y buscarlo, me tomó 2 minutos saber que iba a comer, nadie se acercó a tomar mi orden, la señorita sentada en la caja solo me miraba y volteaba a ver a los meseros. Esperé 10 minutos más y mejor me fui a otro restaurante cercano. Al salir una de las empleadas dijo refiriéndose a mi: Porque se irá? Será porque nadie lo atendió? Y los demás se hicieron a los asombrados, pero nadie se acercó a preguntarme nada, me fuí y cené una deliciosa pizza de Baleros. Ni modos, no creo regresar en mucho tiempo. Espero que capaciten a su personal y así tendrán mejor venta que la que pudieran tener...
