Puebla La Churrería — Local services in Puebla

This place is not far from the Zocalo, you can just to it and it is right on the corner it is hard to miss since there is plenty of light coming from the place at night. During the day the place is open so you can see the people eating while also you can see the churros getting made.. Tried the hot chocolate and it was good, also the churros. Did not eat anything else since the couple of times we stopped by it was only for the churros. The service was fast but since they are so busy they not so so patient with people. One thing I did not like much was the few people panhandling while you are eating, since the place is opened these people come in and beg for money. And the restaurant workers do nothing about it.

I thought the price for the churros was on the high side. I've had churros elsewhere for less. But I guess these are so famous in Puebla, they deserve to go a little higher. Delicious though, no complain here. I thought is was weird the way they sell the churros though. One boy gets your order, a lady fills it and hand it over to the boy, then to us. And... then the boy hands over a basket for you to place your money, boy takes it to cashier. Boy never touches the money, that was weird and unnecessary in my opinion, but I guess system...

We came here because was quite noticeable the amount of people waiting on a line to order at the front desk of the place, so we wondered on our heads “Surely the ‘churros’ here are pretty delicious” and our thoughts were not far from that.

In this place you can order the traditional cemitas, churros, milkshakes and chocolates.

You can order to go or there are room to eat in place, the staff is very friendly and is willing to help you.

The best here are the churros, they make the traditional recipe sprinkled with sugar or cinnamon $4...
