Menara Mall Marrakech – Looks Deceiving!! Disappointing Experience

Menara Mall overall experience is underwhelming.

The biggest issue is the lack of a true shopping atmosphere. Many stores feel overpriced, catering mostly to tourists rather than offering a good mix of local and international brands. The selection is quite limited, and some shops seem empty or uninviting.

Another disappointment is the entertainment area. While the small amusement park and food court might be enjoyable for families with young kids, they don’t offer much for other visitors. The overall ambiance feels dull, and there isn’t much to do beyond walking through the mall.

Cleanliness and maintenance are top notch areas look well-kept. Service in restaurants and shops can be hit or miss, with some staff being friendly and others seeming indifferent.

Overall, Menara Mall is not the best shopping experience in Marrakech. If you're looking for high-end shopping or a vibrant atmosphere, you might be better off exploring the souks or other malls...

I don't know what they want this place to be but it's pure crap except the slightly useful 'super' market. Its just a glorified corner shop! Overpriced overrated but if you're self-catering then it's a must.

In the rest of the 'Mall' there are loads of overpriced overrated shops, selling glorified tripe, but in most of the shops the stuff is marked so non of the annoying haggling as in the souks.

On the top two floors there are a kids play area which is massively expensive if you're thinking of spending the afternoon there.

The food courts in the play areas are massively overpriced like 60-80 MADs a burger with fries and a drink, so £5.50-£6.00 a burger same thing at McDonald's is much better value!

The mall is average overall, but I have several negative remarks that should be taken into account. Prices are very high compared to the quality of the products and promotions, which makes the shopping experience uncomfortable for people with limited income.

Also, the water fountain show in the courtyard is not precise at all. The water splashes randomly and gets on people and their clothes, which is quite annoying—especially if you're out shopping or wearing clean clothes.

What cannot be ignored is the large number of beggars at the entrances. It's very disturbing and gives an unpleasant impression, especially when I saw a man with an amputated leg sitting near the door. It was a painful sight, but it also raises questions about the mall's organization and social responsibility.

I hope these issues will be improved...
