My partner stayed here for four months while I, a local St. Maartener, was off-island and had not yet returned. From start to finish, she had a terrible experience.

First, it is extremely overpriced for what you get. My partner barely stayed in the unit and was in and out of the island, yet every month she kept asking for the GEBE bill, which was supposedly USD $150. She never received a single bill during the entire four-month stay.

Then she had to wait 45 days to receive her deposit. When it finally came, they randomly deducted $176, with no proper explanation, plus $21 even though the transfer was through a local bank (WIB).

On top of that, the rooms are nowhere near as nice as advertised and are rarely cleaned. The management clearly takes advantage of vulnerable students and tenants. It feels like a setup to overcharge people and make it difficult for them to question it. I do not recommend staying here to anyone.

And to the management who will probably respond with, “We don’t see your name on our tenant list”. Instead of trying to discredit people, fix your policies, improve your communication, stop charging unreasonable fees, and provide bills when tenants...

This is absolutely the worst apartment I have ever been in! The elevator constantly breaks down multiple times with people in it, sometimes it takes two days to fix! On multiple occasions the water and electric gets cut off sometimes, lasting for two days. The elevator doesn’t go to the first floor, it only goes to the second floor so whatever groceries or whatever luggage you have you have to walk down or up two flights of stairs! They are scam artists, I signed a six-month lease and I put down a refundable deposit of $1100 they took the $1100 deposit and made it a seven month lease and charged me a month that I was never there! I handed my keys it on the first they charged me for the whole month, and to add insult to injury they charged me two weeks of electric when I was never even! Stay away STAY AWAY! Be very careful when you see the refundable deposit you won’t get it back! They are nothing but liars! They tell you stuff and it never happens! Constant maintenance, horrible time, I was there for six months! I wish I could give...

BEWARE! I would rather lose a limb than ever live in JV or work with this agency again. There is NEVER consistent running water (and of course there is no monetary or other compensation for this), they surprise you with ridiculous arbitrary utility bills and send you threats to shut off your electricity if you don’t pay them, the elevator will be broken for weeks at a time and you’re stuck walking up 7 flights of stairs multiple times a day and can’t carry drinking water or groceries upstairs, they NEVER send you updates or correspondence on any maintenance or things that are broken in the building which is EXTREMELY unprofessional, they never answer emails/WhatsApp messages and are extremely unhelpful with a terrible attitude and there are cockroaches.
