Beachclub LaParade Kijkduin — Local services in The Hague

Ripped my sweater open on the paint flakes on the tables. Ordered vegetarian. Got onion soup with beef. Toilets are super dirty (we were there at the opening, so you would expect them to clean them for customers). It just looks bad. Rust, peeling paint, and dirty cushions. I think there is mold on some of the cushions. Staff was super unfriendly if you asked for something. You get the feeling that you are bothering them with your order or question...bizarre. They were also rude to other customers...as if they didn't want customers. The cutlery was dirty as if not even washed. When we walked away and left our drinks for a while, I could see from a distance that an employee fished a wasp or fly out of my glass and then left my glass. Wonderful restaurant! We went there for the second saturday in a row on a daytrip to Den Haag and can only recommend this pearl on Kijkduin Beach to everybody. The personnel is very very sympathetic, the food was absolutely superb and worth every cent (we're thinking about what to eat next time already). We ordered a p'star martini but got some weird slush mixed with disgusting syrup.

My strawberry daiquiri was no better: no strawberry got to see the inside of my glass. I was served crushed ice with disgusting strawberry syrup concentrate.
