Upland BBQ — Local services in Ōrākei

Best fish and chips we've have had in a very long time. We ordered 1 x Tarakihi and 2 x Hapuka and a portion of chips for 2 of us and have filled our stomachs. I recommend to order those 2 fish (I'll try the snapper next time) The fish were great and it was cooked with old school batter which if you are after more fancy gourmet Fish and chips then maybe not for you. Chips were good but could be a little more crispy (my personal preference!)

It's a small family business and you may have to wait a bit but it's worth the wait. He wasn't super friendly but not rude as well. Simple English with thank you and a smile when we were leaving the shop.

Ordered through ubereats 1 Sweet & Sour Chicken with Rice. First time ordering from here so wanted to try somewhere new, what a disappointment, The chicken pieces had a strong taste of Fish rather than chicken. Barely any veges, 3 small cubes of Green capsicums, 3 pineapple cubes & barely 5 carrots! The sauce wasn’t even tossed through the chicken it was more dumped on because some of the chicken pieces weren’t coated so just look like a real dump of clay shoved to the side. Noticed the new menu offering chinese BBQ and decided to try it for lunch today. Ordered roast duck on rice to takeaway. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. $16 is within the expected price range for this dish. The skin on the roast duck is crispy with good meat on the duck and tastes authentic. Overall, I'm satisfied with this dish and will try soya chciken on rice next time.
