Noi Hair Salon — Local services in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

First time hair do gone WRONG! My partner visited the first time yesterday. We normally go to another salon but our hairdresser has left so it was time for her find a new salon near home. She requested to have a hair cut and colour, the hairdresser recommended for her to bleach her hair, she agreed to that since she have always had her hair bleached before colouring. The whole bleaching process was already concerning when I was waiting with her, she had one side of her hair bleached then staff left for atleast 10-15 mins to do something else, again came back to apply bleach to another portion of her hair, left again. Coming back and forth the whole bleaching process took around 3-4 hours. The entire hair-do took around 7 hours. As you all can see from the photo, my partner has been chemically burnt from their bleach, please note this is not my partner's first time having her hair bleached. It has never happened elsewhere before. It's either something wrong with their bleach or they have left it there way too long in contact with her skin. Atleast they gave her a simple sorry before she left. For those who are wanting to know about pricing, total price we paid...

Lee has been my hairstylist for several years and I was so happy to hear he started working at Noi Salon this year, as it’s closer to home. He has mad skills in colouring hair. He’s done a balayage on my hair and a hybrid (half balayage, half highlights). He also did my wedding hair updo, which I’m so grateful for! Lee is so down to earth and easy to talk to; he always puts his clients first. I fully trust him with my hair and will continue to recommend him to my friends and strangers who ask!

Noi salon has a cool interior and friendly staff. The lady who helped Lee with my hair was so nice to talk to (especially since I was there for hours). Easy parking and a nice vibe, I have no complaints....

Absolutely loveeeeee my haircut! Went in for a cut didn't expect to be pampered with a full head wash and massage by Billy's assistant. He did such a great job! Washed my hair so delicately, usually people rush through this process but he made sure it was done right ✅️ 👌. Everyone came and dried my hair after!! I felt so spoilt ❤️ Thank you Billy for this beautiful haircut!!! I hated going to a hair salon, they always end up making me look like a tomboy or older than I am. I asked for a cute hair cut and he gave me a cute hair cut 💇‍♀️ did I mention I loved it??? Had to do a mini fashion show to show my partner after. He loved it too!!! Thank you so much!!! 💓 haven't felt this good about myself...
