Hulu Cat Tea House — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Hi, I bought 2 Mocha Slushy + coffee jelly NZ9.00 and the other one with pearl NZ8.80 today and told cashier to put only 25% sugar to both orders. I even repeated it before I sat down by the table near the toilet. It's a long wait and when I picked it up at the counter, we were surprised that it's very sweet and we even tried tasting each other's slushy. The one with pearl was sweet but bearable and mine with the jelly was very sweet that made me coughed. I told the cashier and he said he will put ice on it. I gave him back the slushy and said he will changed it. It's again a long wait due to busy hour and the male staff handed it to me and I really appreciated their kind understanding. We drove home but I can't wait to sip my yummy slushy, however I can't grasp or see any coffee jelly on it anymore. I rang the shop and the male staff asked apology. I am relieved because they accepted the mistakes they made for the second time 😞 . I wasn't happy and not satisfied that my favourite coffee jelly wasn't in my slushy. I hope they will give me my coffee jelly on my next visit. Anyway they were all superb and I am happy to go back...

Hulucat East Tamaki big WASTE of time! usually my go to shop but tonight they have shown how incompetent they are when they are busy! Waited shy off 30min (which fair they were busy) but they gave me number 8 and i was waiting for the buzzer to go off for when it was ready. 30min later and the rush over is finished my buzzer did not go off and they were just standing around and talking. Had to go up and ask, only for the lady with the glasses to say “we lost your number and didnt know which order this was” HOW BAD when i was sitting RIGHT in front of them waiting and they didnt even bother asking or yelling out my order. Just for me to get my drink and no longer cold, ice melted and they gave me the WRONG ORDER!! Ordered the mango lime tea and they gave me peach. Never coming back here again and i feel disgusted i even suggested for everyone i know to come here and try their drinks. I ordered online thinking it would be faster, when I arrived the person said 15-20 minutes which I was fine with waiting because I did arrive early. But I ended waiting past the time my order was supposed to be ready. It was really busy which I understood but when it died down I thought maybe they’d call my order out like they did other people. Nope they didn’t. Staff were behind the counter drinking their own drinks. They saw me sitting there but didn’t bother, other people would come in and collect their drinks via the counter which is what I expected or even call my order out as they did others. It wasn’t until my sister came to get our order after 40 plus minutes of waiting (as she’s more confident to do so) that they gave it. Even after getting the drinks they felt like they’d been sitting there for a while warm when it was supposed to be an ICE DRINK. I’ll stick to gong...
