New Wok Chinese Takeaway — Local services in Christchurch

Just awful! Purchased the Sweet & Sour Pork, Chicken & Cashew nuts, fried rice & fried noodles. Portions were OK except that over 3/4 of the main was very large chunks of vegetables. The flavour was appalling - the sweet & sour had an odd savoury taste, no sour and minimal sweet. Only two pieces of pineapple in the whole container, the rest was some unusual diced vegetable that reminded me of broccoli stalks. Chicken and cashew nuts had hardly any cashews, not enough chicken or flavour. One of the worst Chinese takeaway meals we've ever had. So...

Was disappointed. . The portions for the money weren't good value... you also have to buy separate rice or noodles because the dishes don't come with them. The flavours were average too, we had sweet and sour pork and satay chicken. Not a lot of meat but HUGE pieces of carrot and lots of them. Won't be going back definately better...

The food and service here is always top shelf. Tonight, being occasional customers the staff recognised us straight away and asked if we would like our usual dish, which we did.
