The Clubhouse Cafe — Restaurant in Christchurch

We hosted our businesses third birthday party, a private function, at the Clubhouse Cafe, and it was absolutely amazing! Mark Belton, Bar Cafe & Function Manager, was so hospitable, accommodating and amazing from the moment we met, and throughout the whole event. He was so helpful and seemed happy to accommodate all of our needs and requirements for the party. We had about 140 guests, and Mark arranged a fantastic grazing platter for our food and put on some great drink specials for our guests, too. It was really easy for us to get our decorators in to decorate during the day, they had everything there that our bands needed, and on top of this the facilities themselves for just perfect for our party. WOW! We held a function for the Canterbury Property Investors Association and enjoyed our best Christmas Party yet! Mark and his team made for an amazing night, quality food, great service, gorgeous setting including the table settings and beautiful views for miles. The dessert was divine, especially Mark's brownie!

From first contact until the end of our event, Mark and his team made sure we received top class customer service. The Waimairi Beach Golf Club is a hidden treasure in Christchurch and one that will not ever disappoint, especially as the sun goes down! Throw in a round of golf prior your event for a bit of fun!

I am visiting from central Auckland, where the cafe scene is prominent. Our organisation (Amputee and Disability Golf) held our 2020 tournament at Waimari GC over the last week. The quality and service from Mark and the staff was outstanding. Far superior to any experience I have had in Auckland. Dare I say the reputation for best cafe will no longer exist for Auckland. I was blown away with the homemade pies, which reminded me of the pies I had as a kid. Our first round snack was a sumptuous platter where the quantity and quality was supurb.
