I understand there's 5 stars but I would've used a lot more had the option been there for the girl named Jessica. It was just like any other day, I went for my usual shop right before I started my counselling session but on this particular day something happened when I encountered the check out chick. Usually I'm greeted and we endure some small talk centered around barcodes not scanning and me hinting comically that I should take home that item for free. But today something else took place. As I whipped out my large reusable bag I started placing my items on the convieter belt and with each passing item I felt a sense of belonging. I could almost swear I was where I was meant to be. The check out chick flawlessly one by one placed the items nice and delacittly into my bag and my heart seriously skipped a beat. Unfortunately due to prior illness I arrested as a result and made quite the scene. However focus was quickly shifted to the middle age woman at checkout 5 who was disgusted by the staff not smiling relentlessly. Anyway as I came back to consciousness I brought with me a renewed strength. One of gratefulness. I looked at that checkout chick agsin and she asked, "Are you alright sir? You took quite the tumble." As I regained my footing I said, "Yes thank you." And in those quick moments with thoughts running through my head I thought, should I? Could I at least give it a go? As she was about to speak I quickly interjected with a, "I didn't just fall, I mean, I'm still kinda falling." Her cheeks went red, had I messed up I thought. I know I'm in my mid 40's but why not give it a try? She called over her friend and as she came over I thought wow, she is gonna tell her friend how lucky she is. For the first time in a while I felt good, I stood a little taller. As I was planning for a date I was abruptly escorted out for harassment and told I would be blacklisted should I say something like that again so end of the day I feel very happy that I can still shop here. Highly...
Read moreI went to your store with my family, including my mother-in-law, husband, and daughter, to purchase some groceries, including eggs. However, we were highly disappointed with the checkout process.
When we tried to purchase three cartons of eggs, the checkout clerk only allowed us to buy one carton. I found this very perplexing as I had carefully read your egg buying guidelines, which clearly state that one customer is allowed to buy one carton of eggs. Since we were four people trying to buy three cartons of eggs, I thought this would not be a problem. However, the cashier informed us that your machine only allows one carton of eggs at a time.
I understand that machines can have limitations, but your purchase instructions clearly state one carton per person, not one carton per bill. As a customer, I find it highly inconvenient to be restricted to buying only one carton of eggs, even though there were four of us. This has left me feeling highly dissatisfied with the shopping experience at your store.
I hope that you can take steps to rectify this issue, either by updating your guidelines or improving the functionality of your checkout machines to better serve your customers. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution...
Read moreIn line with official instructions we shop at this store because it is our nearest supermarket. I joined the queue about 5.30pm this evening, and got into the store relatively quickly. However, two things were an issue:
16/4/20: Did our weekly shop late this afternoon and had a completely different experience. No queues - walked straight into the store. Way less people in the store, so moving through the aisles was much easier and safer Also managed to get everything on my list except for one item, and I noted that the shelves were well-stocked.. I'm now wondering if my awful experience last week was due to high demand...
