Steviez Cafe — Restaurant in Christchurch

First time I have been to this little cafe since it changed hands. Bob is there now, he is the very pleasant young man who bought me my superb cup of coffee which was piping hot, and a really well filled beef sandwich and an Eccles cake. It is hard to get a good Eccles cake and this one was heavy, filled to the brim with currents and it was delicious as was the sandwich. There was a good array of delicious looking eats in the cabinet and an option of other things as well....Being close to my home, it is my cafe of choice now despite the awkward roundabout route to get there. I feel though, that the interior appearance and noise level of this little cafe could be softened but being small it works as it is, clean and practical. I just happened to be in the area rather than my usual coffee spot. I liked the good use of window seats and the pictures. What I missed was a friendly greeting from the cashier and relaxing music in the background.
