Local people, local produce - from knits, kits, crafts, candles and belgium chocolates, this friendly village market is s a must-see and try; and is why they received my top-ranking, 4 stars out of 5! Friendliness; All stall holders here are friendly and welcoming. Service; Great service with a smile. For example, if you forget your cash ( some stall holders don't have eftpost), Ron, the owner of the market, can help provide cash ( 2.00 fee) from your bank account. Pop over to see Mim, his wife who sells beautiful scarfs ( angora) as well as sheepskin boots and slippers. Variety; Candles, chocolates, beanies, tea cosy, art, crafts, coffee, olive oil, soaps, artisan raw fish, soups and salads, cards, boots, walking sticks made using deer antler, wooden toys, jewelry, Maori arts and crafts - plus a sit- down area for drinking and eating. X- factor; local people, local produce - I love supporting local economies and local stall owners. If you found this review helpful, please click like 👍🏼 and don't forget to follow me on Google Maps 😇 where I highlight the sublime 👌🏼and not so sublime 👎🏼goods and services available to us public and travelers. Surprisingly small for a destination market, but with high quality, usually local products available. Best for local food products, artisan products, seeds and plants, and very handy on a Sunday morning for a drunk hangover brunch! Just not BIG enough to justify most trips. Dog friendly, which is cool, but surprisingly short hours. Many of the stands can also be found closer to the city at the Howick Village market on Saturdays. Frankly, when compared to somewhere like Matakana's markets, this pales in comparison, but if you're out this way and want to have an explore, it's a great short visit while on the way to a beach or regional park.

Located inside and outside of the Clevedon Community Hall the Clevedon Village Market is worth visiting. Arts, crafts, nicnaks, secondhand books, brass ware, fresh bread and other 'village market' usual stalls. Parking is at a premium and chances are high the (small) public car park (where the public toilets are located) will be full so best to park along the street at the first available space. A very welcoming, community market worth visiting if you're in Clevedon on a Sunday.

Clevedon Village Market (not to be confused with the The Clevedon Village Farmers Market) is located in the centre of the town. Staff were kind, and vaccine passes were checked upon entry.  There were around 12 stalls in the school gymnasium, where vendors sell locally made goods. For the foodies out there, there was one fudge, jam, honey and bread stall.

Concerningly food safety wise, bread sold were stored in rectangular plastic boxes covered by only a mesh tarp otherwise buns and the like were exposed in the open....
