Outstanding Experience Purchasing a Toyota Hilux from Ebbett Toyota
My experience purchasing a Toyota Hilux from Michael at Ebbett Toyota, Hamilton, was exceptional from the very first interaction.
I initially walked into the car yard with a few questions in mind. Michael's warm smile and friendly demeanor immediately made him approachable. His welcoming attitude and professional manner quickly gave me confidence that I was speaking to the right person. He was knowledgeable, patient, and respectful â all qualities that made it easy for us to decide where to buy our new Hilux.
A few days later, I returned with my family, and we confirmed our decision to purchase the SR5 Cruiser model. We did encounter a small hurdle when deciding on the colour. Michael offered helpful suggestions and ultimately recommended the Deep Sea Blue based on our preferences. Although we were initially unsure, he took the time to show us a similar vehicle to help us visualise the colour better. When the vehicle arrived, he even allowed us to view it before it was prepared for sale â and we were delighted. The colour was perfect, and his recommendation was spot on.
The entire transaction process was smooth and stress-free. Michael was well-prepared, attentive to our needs, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. We also greatly appreciated the assistance of Business Manager Amy Zhu, whose support was great throughout.
Weâre absolutely thrilled with our new Toyota Hilux and highly recommend reaching out to Michael at Ebbett Toyota Te Rapa for your next...
Read moreThese guys really need to set the bar for wofs and stick to it. You have LVV certifiers, mechanics and muffler specialists laughing at you for this. They too believe your guy had no idea what he was doing. I've owned my car for 5 years and for the 5 years have come to Toyota for my wofs. I've done nothing new to the exhaust but only now they fail it for potentially being too loud. So there's 2 situations: 1- Either Toyota has illegally passed my car for wofs the entire time prior.. 2- the guy who did my wof today is an oddball who doesn't understand that the exhaust is legal and so is the noise level that their colleagues have passed me on for the past 5 years.
Which one is it? Your staff being inadequate or the company passing my car illegally? Because neither are a good result. đ
The legal limit is 90 to 95 decibels. It says this on the NZTA website for everyone to see. Mine is under that amount, your guy wrote that. Secondly, my car has not been green stickered so have been advised by LVV this cannot legally be requested. What a joke and a waste of money. Side note- the wof techinican was too scared to talk to me about the situation and kept leaving the poor receptionist who advised she didn't have as much knowledge (and rightly so) in the middle of it. If you're not able to back up your own work that in...
Read moreComplete rip off by service department. Checked an old 90's Toyota for diagnosis of slight engine hesitation and main concern was airbag light on. (Thought Toyota such a respectful name and definitely highly qualified mechanics) Service department came back with quotation of $200 for check up that has to be paid straight away. Ok then car spend can't remember exactly how many hours and result being to change "cheapy spark plugs x6" and 2x rocking cover gaskets "straight six engine" at a cost of exceeding $800 as for engine hesitation. ( just to mention as second hand entire engine cost $1000 ) So far in regards to main concern which is airbag light nothing much being said apart from that Toyota Ebbett will check on this thing with Toyota New Zealand and will advice. So after a few days of following up they requested another $130 to further look at it and not a single comment being responded - just hung up. Will another $130 be enough or is there anything else?
So the whole thing looks like a joke or there is point missing here! Would assume that people earning their bread for result or at least costs to be discussed prior by simple saying - "hey guys sorry it's not an easy case and we might need to spend such and such " or " sorry guys, that's something we can't help...
