Beautiful scenery and plenty of space for those wanting to avoid the crowds at the more popular Muriwai Beach next door. Walk way down and back as a bit of an adventure especially for the younger children. No disability access from what I could see so need to be able to navigate the sometimes steep and Rocky path down to reach the beach. Close enough to see the gannets nesting. Nice little Cave in the cliff side to explore at low tide. Not very sheltered unless you manage to set up next to one of the larger rock formations.
