Ferguson Builders were the successful tenderer for the construction of our large, high end, 2-storey commercial building in Queenstown.

Ferguson Builders were awarded this contract due to being the superior applicant in multiple areas of consideration. We wanted to work with a company who cared about not only about the quality of their workmanship and end product, but also their reputation.

From the research we did we could see Ferguson Builders have taken great care in building a brand that represents their family name. Unfortunately in Queenstown it is hard to find building companies who don't just treat you as another number and a way to make profit.

For us, we only work with companies who hold the same values as ourselves. We are (and you should too) happy to pay a little bit more to work with someone who will not just walk away having done an "okay" job. In the building industry here there is plenty of opportunity to get projects that have the potential to gain repeat work from the same client. This is the easiest way to get new clients, rather than going out looking for new ones each time, if you do a great job you can continue to work with current clients on new houses and buildings throughout years to come.

Rob and his team seem to understand the value in this as they have the business smarts to see that if they go the extra mile, treat their clients with respect and don't just walk away after the final bill is paid then they can bask in a great deal of success in the years to come through not only repeat work but word of mouth advertising which we all know is the most successful form of marketing.

From the get go, the Ferguson team really gave it their all. They were working to a very tight deadline right bang smack in the middle of the challengers caused by Covid. We really appreciated all the efforts made to get this job over the line in the time we specified. The team had high attention to detail and worked together to achieve the same goal. They have great relationships with their sub trades which means that things ruin smoothly on site and they are able to call in favours very easily with them. It was apparent the team chooses to work with like-minded sub trades which is nice to see.

We greatly enjoyed the yarns on site with the Ferg team throughout our build process and are thrilled with the end product that was produced. There is an exceptional standard in the quality of their work and the quality they hold their sub trades to as well. This was clearly evident when viewing the end product.
