Wucha Queenstown — Restaurant in South Island

Hey guys, I have always liked your drinks but today's experience really deserves a one star. I know you are having a promotion and I could see you guys were busy behind the counter. BUT, that is no reason for bad customer service and bad food hygiene.

Staring annoyed at customers waiting, bare in mind, we waited for over 40min for just 4 drinks is not okay. You should have had more staff at hand if you could not keep up with the demand; after all, you are charging customers extra as it is a public holiday. When I went up to collect the last drink, at which I asked if it was ready as I had heard orders after mine being handed out, I was greeted with an angry stare and a point 👉 at where my drink was.

If that was bad enough, I watched as one of your employees/colleague, drink her freshly made grape yoghurt drink, spit out something she didn't fancy (the grape seed I assume) to put in the bin, not wash her hands, and began peeling the grapes off their skins with the hands that she had spat in! That is disgusting and gross, all out bad food management hygiene! Hopefully no one gets food poisoning.

I am genuinely disappointed to the point of not returning anytime soon. I hope your employees up their game and attend another course...

When we walked in it was very busy with customers and four staff, we stood at the counter and waited, the staff ignored though she saw us she was on her phone.

We finally got her attention and we asked how long it would take to get the drinks, she said that I depends on what you get. We told her what we wanted to order and then we apparently had to liked there Facebook for the deal , we said that we did not want the deal but she said we had to. We did it and she said to show her the phone to prove that we had liked. We paid for the drinks and finally got the time we had to wait 20 minutes wait. We went to pick up the drinks and headed home but before we could get out the door she yelled across the room to ask for the receipt

Overall a very bad service and cleaning. Do not recommend to anyone. Staff...

We’ve been a fan of Wu Cha since they opened and been buying drinks from them every time we visit Queenstown.

But recently, my family and I bought 3 milktea and 3 slushy with cream on the 31st of December, and had it while driving back home. After a few hours later, 4 of us who had the slushy with cream became really sick and started throwing up and having diarhhea. We ended up celebrating our New Year’s eve in the bed, because we were really sick. We could not think of anything else that could have caused us to be sick since it was the last thing we had before we fell ill.
