Mandaue Foam - Shaw Blvd. Branch — Local services in Mandaluyong

Such a terrible experience - never again!!! I used to be a fan of Mandaue Foam since most of their prices are actually affordable and sometimes look better and are cheaper than Ikea. The shelf that I bought around 2 years ago is still in like new condition. However, my recent experience has been the worst.

Before going to the branch, I asked on their socials if they have stock of the cabinet I wanted to buy. Unfortunately, no stock when we arrived. So we did a pre-order and we were able to pick up a few days after. When we were almost done assembling the item, I noticed there was a chip off on one of the cabinets. So I had to return the next day to report what had happened. The CS asked who assembled and I honestly felt like she was putting the blame on me. Eventually though, she ordered a replacement. However, the only available schedule was almost 10 days away and so I volunteered to just bring the drawer with the issue and they replaced it. Once I got home and trier the replacement drawer, it didn't fit for some reason?!!!! So I had to message on Viber and they mentioned an assembler will come to my place instead. When the assembler left, I noticed a small white dot on the drawers again. I just give up at this point.

I am a deeply disappointed customer.

I love their furniture, and bought most of my stuff from them. However, their quality is not good and their customer service is really bad after the purchase. I bought a beautiful 8-seater dining set, but all the chairs broke within a few months (the plywood seats collapsed because they were poorly designed with no support in the middle of the seat). What good is a table without any working chairs? Also, you buy an office chair, but they assemble it backwards! It's an office chair with literally two parts. It shouldn't be that hard to get right. Then when you request them to fix the chair, they don't answer the phone and refuse to reassemble if you bring it back.

I hate giving one star reviews. but after buying an entire house's worth of furniture from them, I will never shop there again. The attraction was the beautiful designs and cheap prices, but I learned that the designs are not durable (collapsed bookcase shelves and broken dining chairs) and in the end you don't get what...

The good: Prices can't be beat, they're affordable, and they have a decent selection of furniture. The sofa we bought was sturdy and color selection is not bad at all. It took 2 weeks to get our sofa to be upholstered to the color we wanted, and didn't mind the wait.

The bad: Although they reassured me that the numbers on their calling card stapled to our sales invoice would all be manned, and someone would pick up, that is just not true. It took us ALL DAY (literally) to get someone to call us back, and it was getting to be a bit stressful because we needed details of the drivers for permits. Not sure why no one picks up when you call them a day before the delivery when that's absolutely crucial to operations.
