I had a bad experience. I initially asked for a hard pressure massage, and I got the signature massage for 1.5 hours because I was told the pressure could be adjusted as needed. Unfortunately, even after requesting it twice during the session, the masseuse couldn’t deliver the pressure I asked for.

On top of that, she didn’t seem to know how to perform a basic massage. It was a nightmare — I didn’t enjoy the experience at all. I wasn’t relaxed, and the “lamig-lamig” from my body wasn’t relieved in the slightest. I wish I hadn’t gone. I dreaded every minute of it.

Beforehand, I had specifically requested to be assigned someone experienced in hard massage, and I was even offered an upgrade to a deep tissue massage, which costs more. I believe the massage pressure should not depend on the package but rather on the client’s needs. The masseuse had neither the strength nor technique, which was very disappointing.

Even worse, I had to repeatedly ask her to apply more pressure. She would massage me, stop, and then start again — it was full of awkward pauses. At some point, I wondered, “Is she sleepy?”

This evening, I arrived to Olistica for the second time because the place is very professional, clean, and great customer service. The masseuse, Sofia is incredible on my deep tissue massage. I requested her this evening because the first time she did a deep tissus, and hot stones for 90 minutes. She removed the muscle knots that I felt from previous days. Charlene, receptionist is fun to talk with. She is very socialable and listens to your concern and needs.
