Well, upon my return home they send me an invite to give them feedback on my stay. So herewith my letter to them:||||Dear mister Sales and Marketing Officer, ||Since you are asking, I’ll offer some valuable feedback to you…|| ||I travel all over the world but on very very rare occasions I had such a bad experience as I had in your beloved Coco hotel.||You ask western world prices, but you neglect to provide western world services…|| ||A few examples:|| ||- I payed for your hotel to arrive on Sunday, but only arrived on Monday. That was my choice, but upon arrival it was 35 degrees in the room, the airco was switched off. I did pay for the room since the day before didn’t I ?||- The room smells mould, and not just a little bit ! really terrible. It must be ages since somebody stayed in that room?||- Your hotel does not have any breakfast room at all. Instead, I need to order breakfast the night before, and next it will be delivered to my room the next morning. In my case, 15 minutes before requested delivery time, so I had to address the door naked…||- Breakfast that was served, has nothing to do with breakfast, it was just plain rubbish, un eatable junk, worth no nothing. The next days we had breakfast in a restaurant.||- On two occasions I returned to my room to found the airco shut down again. Resulting in 35 degrees room temperature…||- The airco is placed right over the bed. Not very smart… hard to catch sleep when the vent of the airco is directed straight over the bed. ||- Second day, in the evening, I found a cockroach in my bathroom. So I put a glass over the cockroach and left it there. What do you think happened the next day upon return in my room? Right, cockroach still there, although the missing glass was replaced on my washing till. Hard to miss the cockroach and glass though… it was in the middle of the bathroom. You could just step on it by accident… So after complaining at the reception they send somebody up to get rid of it after all…||- Next day, my toilet was a dirty. Since there is NO toilet brush, it cannot clean it for myself. What happened next day? Indeed, toilet NOT cleaned… So service in the room is restricted to making up the bed I guess, Oh yes, shutting down the airco as well…|| ||Shall I continue or do you have enough info for now?|| ||Thinking of it, I shall copy paste the above and put it on Tripadvisor. Do yourself a favour and work on the above points, you might deliver decent service according to Philippine standards but are by no means close to international standards so please stop pretending otherwise !|| ||Not so best regards...
Read moreExcellent customer service! My kids loved the bath tub, loft and balcony. It's different from what they were used to. I didn't expect the bathroom amenities would be this complete. The toiket has a built in bidet and the bath tub is pretty clean. Complete from shampoo, conditioner, liqyid bath soap, dental kit, shower caps and cotton swabs. Other 4 star hotels won't even provide a comb. Way better than hotels in Manila and some of the B&Bs in Tagaytay. Have I mentioned the bathroom smelled really good. ||Don't expect too much on the free breakfast. You have the option to cook your own meals. You can rent complete cooking and dining utensils for 200 pesos. If you forget to buy ingredients, SM is close to the property. SCH is also surrounded by restaurants. For the price you pay, comparing to other hotels during the peak season, I can compromise. Parking area is a bit off, way far from the reception area, but there's a security guard. So, I reckon it's safe. If you're staying just for the night, this isn't a big deal. ||There's washing machine. Surprisingly. So, if you went to Subic for a swim in the day, as long as you bring your own laundry soap, you can definitely wash your clothes here. Plus points if you ask me.||Although we wish they wouldn't charge extra for pool access when the person won't use the pool in the first place and just stay to look after the kids.|||Other than that, we are very satisfied and will definitely be back. SCH will be our choice whenever we...
Read moreTheirs is not the most grandiose or most modern establishment, but they compensate with heads-up service, starting with the reception counter.
Their family room with loft is designed with practicality in mind. But a safety reminder: their stairs going to the loft area is not totally safe for kids. They should be assisted by adults to avoid accidents and injury.
It has a stove to heat or cook meals, and cupboards to store grocery items. But please bring your own cookware and utensils. They do have hot water should you want hot drinks.
The loft area does not have an a/c unit, so it can cause discomfort especially during the summer.
Parking is located on an empty lot. That means you have to inform the reception so that they can inform the guard on duty to open the access gate.
Oh yes, the place is near malls and duty free shops. If you're driving a private vehicle, obey traffic rules. They are seriously...
