Do not go here!! The service department cannot be trusted!

We brought our 2010 CRV here to have a running issue diagnosed. They said it was the transmission. We paid them P65k to supposedly fix the problem. After the repairs were supposedly completed, the symptoms occurred again. By ourselves, we later determined it was due to bad gas from the Petron station on Morato/E Rod. We put injector cleaner in the gas tank and the symptoms stopped and never recurred. We asked Honda what they did. They said they overhauled the transmission. It's obvious the work they did, assuming it was done at all, was unnecessary or was never done. A simple dose of injector cleaner was all it needed. I wasn't around to deal with them and unfortunately our driver doesn't know much about mechanical issues (another laughable matter. You would think that since driving is their primary job they would know some basic mechanical knowledge).

This dealership needs to start with simple solutions first before jumping to complicated conclusions that costs a lot of money. I spoke with the mechanic about this later. He had no explanation of what exactly they did nor did he offer any apology or credit. They are lucky they are not in the US. I would have already filed a complaint with the Secretary of State who regulates auto repair shops.

My in-laws have always brought this car here for service. Makes me wonder if they actually did the work they say they did. Be very wary when getting work done by this dealership!! Maybe it's time to write a letter to...
