Mister Kabab — Restaurant in Quezon City

Although it's my first time to dine in at their branch in Fisher Mall, Quezon city, I've been a customer of Mr. Kabab since I was in college (so about 20 years now?)

Originally in West Ave., the go-to restaurant for all your Middle Eastern cuisine fixes. Food is great! Ambience might be a bit quirky and may take some time getting used to. Their meats are always seasoned and cooked well and the butter rice - while may just be a simple staple - is always filling and worth it (always large portions!)

Speaking of their rice - it's always consistent even in different branches. Most of the time,overlooked by most customers, but I am always satisfied with their rice servings as they get the texture just right (not too "wet" and watery, and not too dry or "buhaghag" that it falls apart easily).

10/10 will always go and dine hereto get my Middle Eastern cuisine...

Food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We ordered the Beef Special Chelo Kabab and mixed special choice of beef and chicken (double). It was delicious with the ample amount of meat serving. The rice came with butter and grilled tomatoes which complimented the meat perfectly.

Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It is located inside Fishermall (3rd floor) with sufficient tables and chairs for diners. Considering with came on a Sunday during dinnertime the waiting time was very minimal.

Service: 🌟🌟🌟 The service from the staff definitely has room for improvement. It was my Mr Kabab experience and I was disappointed from the moment we took our seats, no one from the staff gave us a menu. Once we gave out our orders the food came in within a few minutes. When we payed the bill it took almost 10 minutes just for the receipt.

It was my first time trying Mister Kebab. There wasn't much of a crowd when I got there around 5PM. I ordered Beef Special Chelo Kebab Php 205 with Biryani Rice (add on Php 15). I was offered two meat choices- tenderloin or ground. I decided combining so I could try both. I suggest (1) going for the tenderloin- the ground beef kebab tastes like the usual hamburger patty and (2) try to finish the tenderloin right away- I left a small portion unattended for a few minutes and when I got back to it.. it wasn't as soft and juicy as it was when it was first served.
