A nice place to watch birds roam around. The Sanctuary is inside a school campus, so don't get confused. Upon entrance in the campus, you need to surrender a valid ID and in return you will given a Visitor's Pass. After you are done visiting, just surrender your Visitor's Pass to get your ID back. Entrance is free. 😀

The guard would ask for your ID, just show it to him then he would let you go in. The place is actually a school too. When you go in, you need to walk further like 10-15mins to reach the bird sanctuary. Anyway, I wasn't able to see so much birds cos I went most of the birds were elsewhere looking for food.

It is one place.bird watchers and tourists, should visit because its within the city. Perfectly safe to do a walking tour fr the City Hall of Zamboanga, to the Fort Pilar Museum, Fort Pilar shrine, the sanctuary and cap the walking tour by 445 pm or 5pm, at the Paseo del Mar to watch the sunset while having early dinner or the famous knickerbocker at...
