Worst shop in Moscow. Extremely rude. My autistic Russian friend went into the shop as I offered to buy him some supplies. At the checkout I paid for all items. One of the staff followed us to the checkout. She made a false accusation that my friend had stolen an item. They refused to check their CCTV. We wanted a search to be conducted by a trusted authority. We called the Police. The Police arrived and searched my friends pockets and bag. They found nothing because nothing was stolen. The whole ordeal was traumatic for my friend and very humiliating. My friend was completely innocent. There was no apology from the shop. We wanted to make a formal complaint but the shop were resisting to give us the name of the bad employee that caused us so much distress. They wouldn’t bring to us their incident book to file a report which is a upon request is a mandatory requirement in all Russian Shops. They wouldn’t give us any contact details for any managers or any business address of their head office. This experience was shameful. We were told her name was rogue employee is called Natalia Ivanova. A despicable example of a Russian Supermarket. Moscow is an advanced modern city, one of the best cities in the world.
