Karthika Enterprises Pte Ltd — Local services in Singapore

I know my review will not impact a big supermarket like Karthika in Singapore as they are big payer but it’s my duty to give the correct review to all the customers like me, who are genuine and they are regular. I am buying Grocery from past 2 years at list twice in a month. Where in I take home delivery as my order is above 150S$ every time. I go by myself and take the stuff do the billing and then they deliver, most of the time 1 or 2 things from the grocery stuff is not good each and every time. Either there are warms, some kind of insect or there is power in it. Few days back I said this to the staff at the counter he said you should take a photo or a video then I, now this Wednesday I went to shop as usual and bought the grocery and told them to deliver. This time the coconut was bad it was stinking so I took a video and today I showed it to him so he is took some time told me arrogantly that we don’t replace but you are a regular customer so I am giving it to you. I said brother you are not doing any favour on me it’s ok I don’t want your coconut. I told him o want speak to your manager he said take this card and do whatever you want to do send email or call. I checked every where there is no relevant contact or any concern person to communicate then the other staff came and said I told you write a email and do whatever you want. I mean what kind of management is this.

Almost everything is available for a kitchen although its not comparable to Mustafa. In my experience I will refrain from going to this shop due to the price factor. Most of the things are insanely over priced and one might get disappointed in the first visit itself. Most of the groceries are still ok but never ever think about buying utensils from here, they are extremely over priced. To give an example, they quoted 100$ for a 5 litre pressure cooker and the exact same we bought from Mustafa for 40$. The only advantage is that they provide home delivery if we purchase for 100$. I have seen karthika enterprises grow from a small shop to what it is right now a mini supermarket with many specialty Indian foods and Indian brands they are growing quite well and also doing home delivery and their business is booming and I know many of my friends do my shopping there. There speciality seems to be the way to keep some unique indian brands and items like darjeeling tea and food stuff from kerala and if you are there specific indian brands which i do not find another places well done.
