Why did woolworths paarl mall took away their customer service desk at the back. Seriously!!!! What the point of doing it. More stress to your customers and staff. At the deli. Every morning i come in and order 4 to 5 orange cream donuts. Now it was taken of the self because the person in charge dont like me. Their is a lady by the name of dorian. Woollies paarl. Mall how did it come that you took her as head if the department. She dont great, dont smile, she dont even talk to the clients or respond to what a person ask her. You are cutting your hours. We. As customers ate suffering, standing and waiting for 1 person to help 10 to. More at a certain counter. Management are walking around on the floor asif they sre from mars. Cant they ask the customer if they need help. I'm slowly taking my butt away from this store and going to stellenbosch using more petrol but to get better service. Its only Millisa, Carmen, Cinthia, Mornic, nerisa, ellan, the lady inbthe stockroom (if she is om the floor with a big smile) and some of the supervisors. At the customer desk that let you feel. At home. In the food cord. The lady at the floors. The staff at the deli excluding dorian. And the floor staff think that if you are a certain type of person you dont have it so they dont greet or ask to help. The security walk the whole shop or stand and watch me as a client because of what!!! Get your store in order. You will not get the targets that you want because you are lacking that old customer care rule. Take care of the customer and the customer comes back...

I was followed closely by a staff member the entire time, which made me feel very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the staff member gave me what appeared to be disapproving looks throughout my visit.
While I understand the importance of assisting customers, the way this was handled felt invasive and unwelcoming. Shopping should be an enjoyable and comfortable experience, but this encounter left me disappointed.
I hope Woolworths will consider improving staff training to ensure customers feel respected and valued while shopping. Respectful and friendly customer service can make all...
Read moreMens clothing is on the one side of the store, and the fitting rooms is way over on the other side of the store. I was told to go to the fitting rooms, but when I returned from there, the same girl who told me to go there allowed another guy to fit right there. I would not have taken off my T-Shirt. Maybe I looked like someone who can't afford to shop there. That is why I'd rather go to Canal Walk to shop at Woolworths. At least everyone is addressed with respect when visiting the Canal Walk store. Send your staff to be trained and how to talk to customers. Or is it that you cannot appoint better qualified staff who knows how to talk...
