Panarottis Paarl — Restaurant in Drakenstein Local Municipality

As a regular customer to the Zevenwacht mall Panarottis I can honestly say comparing the service level, Paarl mall Panarottis is the worst service I have ever received. Earlier this afternoon we visited the restaurant and firstly our waitress was confused and clearly overwhelmed. This was strange as there were only 4 tables occupied by patrons. Firstly we ordered our drinks and meal, after 25min our drinks arrived (remembered I mentioned 4 tables occupied so what took 25min) only to find the order was messed up. After our waitress returned 2 more times and 15min our drink order was sorted (this is a total of 40min just to get drinks and I say again 4 tables occupied) after a further 15 min our waitress returns no food in hand but asks if we ordered our food and with which waiter? To our surprise we reorder our food and a further 20min go by till I ask one of the other waiters if our food order has been placed, she goes to check but offers no explanation but walks by us several times till I stop her to ask what's happening? She then says they are starting with your order now! (this is a total of 1 hour and 15min)now at this point we cancel the order ask for the bill a and leave. Please note I believe we were dealing with the Manager at the end when we canceled the food order and I can say the pathetic service climbs the ladder all the way to the top.

To all Panarottis lovers save yourselves an agonizing experience and go eat elsewhere!!!

May I also add if you go through the reviews posted by others it would seen this pathetic service has been your standard for the past couple of years, now I am so sorry I never checked what the customers were saying before we entered....

After today, I will never ever recommend, Paarl Mall Panarotti's to anyone. Well, first of all we normally sit close to play area, because of our 8 year old child who loves to play there. Well, we ordered his food while we decided what to order. Our waiter was a young guy. So, he brought the kiddies creamsoda. I gave our order, 3 adults, 2 pasta and one pizza dish and a bottle Rose of Leopards Leap. Remember Paarl temp outside was round about 30 maybe 32 degrees. He brought the wine, room temp, no ice, I had to asked for a ice bucket. Didn't open the bottle. Well, I waited and asked him if they had any wine that is cold, as it should be kept in the fridge, his answer was just no. Not even sorry, I will go see or asked. It is SUMMER guys!!! Ok, in the play area there is no "supervision" like to see that the childern don't hurt each other or bully one another. They scream harder than the music in the restaurant. Then when our food çame out of the kitchen, we had to ask but what about our childs pizza? Plaincheese and ham, kiddies pizza. O, I forget it the waiter said. We asked the manager if they do something for the little ones on their bday. Because he just turn 8 today and he loves it normally in Panarotti's in Cape Gate or Tygervalley, but we live closer to Paarl, so this was the option for today. Yes, they get a icecream. Ok, needless to say, we pay, R800+ and when we stand up to go, they run for the icecream and a take away spoon. We gave the ice cream to car guard, because of the heat of today. I REST MY CASE!! Sorry Panarotti's Paarl Mall your service...

Terrible service and unmotivated staff.

I ordered online through Uber Eats, keep in mind on Panarottis website they actually give their customers three options for online order (Uber, Mr Delivery and Order in). My first attempt to place my order was through Mr Delivery after which my order failed because Panarottis did not respond in time to take my order. So, I placed my order through Uber, thankfully this went through and according to them my order will be ready for collection at 20h10. I arrived at Panarottis Paarl Mall just after 20h10 and advised them I was here to collect. They saw on their system I ordered through Uber and that payment was already done. Needless to say, my order wasn't ready, it wouldn't be ready for another 30min. I stood there waiting, as it appeared that they haven't even started to make my order. The restaurant was empty and it seemed that the kitchen staff had a party in the kitchen, chatting and laughing away. Three different employees, one of them appeared to be the manager, came to ask me what my order was and I had to repeat myself three times, even though this order was placed through Uber and Panarottis should have all the information on their system.

After the 35min wait, bear in mind this is after my order was supposed to be ready, I received my food and a "humble apology". This will be the last time I will visit this poorly managed restaurant and advise every one I know...
