Love to shop here!
It has become my families favourite shopping mall as it's elder friendly and easy to navigate.
There is no second floor or added on hallways, it's a basic rectangle shape that had Pick n Pay on one side and Checkers the other side. In between are restaurants, coffee places, shoe shops, sweet shops and other clothing shops.
They had even put in a free water dispenser where you can refill your waterbottles which is very thoughtful especially for people who can't afford to buy water or something to drink.
And even if you don't want to sit inside the mall, if you go out into the parking lot at the back there are more shops like Home and there eating spots like Bootleggers which is a bit expensive, but worth the price with delicious food and drinks.
I recommend going here especially to the more older people as there wheelchair friendly ramps, all the necessities like banks and atms, grocery stores, clothing stores, a PNA, Dischem and Clicks and a lot of eating places to choose from and all of it is easy to find and not a hassle to get to. Added on there is no parking fee so shop away.
They even had a small market that my parents and Grandma went to, and they did complain about the prices but loved the food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe other day I came there and I parked, got out of my car and walked about 100m to just chill and linger outside. A security guard followed me all the way from my car to where I was standing to tell me to wear a mask. I told him I wasn't going into any shops but he insisted. I pointed out all the other people not wearing masks outside and he still insisted and ignored everyone else. I went to my car, got my mask and he continued to follow me around like I was his child. Fine thats fair enough and i wouldve left it at that if i did not come back the next day to buy something at Incredible Connection. At the entrance, nobody was sanitizing. It was quite busy but absolutely nobody was sanitizing. I even thought the sanitizer things were broken until I used one. Absolutely nobody is sanitizing at the entrances of Ferndale On Republic and nobody is enforcing it. And im talking all the entrances. The security guards spend their time fussing about the wrong things and it will certainly come back to bite you guys. Get your priorities in order before your mall becomes a covid hotspot. Nobody is sanitizing at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn 1st August 2025, I had a terrible experience at Ferndale on Republic Centre when R750 was stolen from my car while parked on your premises. After reporting the incident to the car guards and security footage operator, I was treated with absolute disrespect. They were rude, dismissive, and acted as though my complaint was not important.
What is even more shocking is that after reviewing the footage and admitting to recovering some of the stolen money, they only returned R350 to me. They refused to give back the remaining R400 and offered no clear explanation. This feels like a cover-up and extremely dishonest behaviour from people who are supposed to protect customers.
As a paying customer, I expect proper security and professional assistance, not arrogance and empty promises. I am demanding the immediate return of my remaining R400 and a proper explanation from management regarding how this situation was handled so poorly.
If this matter is ignored, I will not hesitate to escalate it publicly through consumer protection platforms and social media. This level of service is completely...
