Good day all my beautiful partners , friends of Centurion Food Lovers Market. Please, BE CAREFUL!!!! and always look at EXPIRE date at Food Lovers Market before you buy anything from them. !!!! To sell expired products at any place is absolutely ILLEGALLY!!! But Food Loves Market at Centurion keep doing this all the time. 😱😡🔥🥵

WE WAS POISONED FEW TIMES!!! We been throwing away thousands of Rands of food because it was expired, off or rotten!!!.

THIS IS MY SHORT STORY. I have my own catering business. Every week i am shopping at Food Lovers Centurion for my product because I live close by. Every week my shopping cost me R5000 that usually R 1500 i am though in the bin because at the end it is a bad quality and rotten products! I even never have a discount for amount of products or money that I spend in this place. 😡

All my vegetables and a lot of meat (steak, rump and sirloin, pork, bacon) i am I buying from Food LOVERS market in Centurion for last 5 years. Every week i am spending at your shop R 5000, that is R 1000 i am throwing away. ( expired rotten meat most, vegetables- rotten inside, soggy off not rinse or clean herbs and more. )

I don’t know what happened to your shop- place now. ??? It is absolutely BAD! Never been like that before. You are getting down so fast!!!

I AM PROMISSION YOU NEXT TIME IT IS HAPPENED AGAIN, I AM TAKING YOU TO THE COURT. I am so tired to spend money at your place and through out many Rands away every week, not even months.

Plus- your computer system is never controlled. ( what price on the shelves- it is different prices at the till. ) Your employment staff, even management - not educated enough for the job they doing. No one knew different between Jalapeños, Chillies or Paprica. Many kind of product when you ask manager about, he doesn’t know what i am talking about. So scary!!!! It is not acceptable at all !!!!

But it is very important when it is come to the cooking business. It is why your shop calls: FOOD LOVERS MARKET.

Please, can you just follow your SHOP NAME and YOUR !!!!!EXPECTATION!!!!!!

To be honest, your shop owner me R 850. 000 for last 5 years that i am buying meat and vegetables from you and keep throwing in the rubbish bin R1500 per week. ( counting for 11 month per year.) I don’t know what else to say. But… please, do something about your bad quality of product, service and employees.

I also would love to conceder replace all my lost in your shop for last 5...

On the 29th of August 2025, I visited food lovers Gateway Mall, where I experienced very very poor service. To add insult to injury when I requested to speak to the Manager Bruce whom I have met on different occasions, the gentleman at the butchery stated that he is the Manager. I then requested one of the employees to call the store Manager however Bruce was not available, he then called the Assistant Store Manager and I spoke to him however the condescending manner in which he spoke, stating that he will do me a favor made me realize that I am in the wrong place and I left.

My request was that the chicken thighs that I was going to be purchasing should be packed in smaller quantities for me and I was going to pay for this service, the person at the butchery point blank told me that it cannot be done, when I informed him that other stores actually assisted me previously, he then changed his tune and told me that he can do it, but I should come the following day to collect the chicken, I was dissatisfied and disappointed by the poor service and will not support Food Lovers Gateway Mall in the future nor recommend this store to anyone.

It must be categorically stated that the store does not do any favors to anyone we are paying customers.

I always receive the requested service at Food Lovers Castlegate and Menlyn.

I hope that the Mangament of Food Lovers Gateway Mall correct this bad service and attitude of the person at the butchery. I wish to add that the staff at the butchery were prepared to assist me but couldn't because of the butchery Manager who needed to...
