Spur at Centurion Lifestyle Centre has become one of my go-to spots — and easily one of my favourite Spur branches to visit. Whether you're popping in for a quick solo meal, meeting friends for a casual catch-up, or treating the family to a hearty dinner, this branch never disappoints.

One of the first things I appreciate about this Spur is the reliable availability of seating. Even during busier times, there always seems to be a table ready, and the atmosphere never feels overly cramped or noisy. It’s comfortable and relaxed — the kind of place where you can actually have a conversation while enjoying your food.

The food consistently hits the mark. Whether it's a classic Spur burger, ribs and chips, or a sizzling steak, it's always served hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The portions are generous, and the quality is exactly what you'd expect from the Spur brand — comfort food that satisfies every time.

The service is another big win here. I changed my rating from a 4 to a 1 because it seems like since the last time I was here things have gone downhill. I'm actually writing this review at the the spur. Our waiter (Waynes) was so rude it's unbelievable. 1st I ask him to bring my little girl the coloring paper, his attitude is that why didn't I just bring one from home "this is not my job". Then he finally brings it and he hands it to me, like here, give it to your baby. OK, I think nothing of it. 2nd thing, he brings our food but strangly he never places it down on the table like it's customary, we literally have to take it from his hands. OK, again, that's fine I guess. 3rd he never comes back to check if we need anything, for instance our table had no salt, just pepper and my wife wanted tomato sauce and water, this guy never showed until 30min after we finished our food, by that time we were ready to go pay at the counter. Very nice Spur but incredibly frustrating. 1st time I went to get a coffee while my kids played outside. Asked if I could sit outside, sorry no tables. Walk outside and 4 LARGE tables are EMPTY. I asked for when are they reserved. For 11. It was 0830. I wanted 20 minutes to have a coffee. Today the same happened. Went for breakfast with my mother in law, 3 year old and 1 year old. Again all tables booked for birthdays outside. We were there just after 9. No tables available outside but noone sitting there. Even when we left at 1020 there was not a soul at the booked tables. Quite a few parents were forced to go in and out, in and out because this branch cannot fathom how to turn tables between 7am and 10am. Its is very simple to book tables and tell customers they are booked from 10am onward. Its not a difficult concept.
