Kokoro Linden — Local services in Gauteng

Honestly disappointing. The cashier left out a few items on our order which we saw as an honest mistake but when correcting the order I asked her to bring out what was ready because we had already been waiting about half an hour for food you don’t even have to cook. The menu items are small five minute snacks that should not take long at all. She said she would bring out our stuff but seemed to have forgotten what I said. The spicy chicken dumplings tasted very good but were quite small compared to the ones we usually get at Kokoro Rivonia. The cheese gimbap was also good with a good amount of filling. We also ordered the teriyaki onigiri and the tuna onigiri. Their teriyaki onigiri was flavourless. I’m not sure they even added teriyaki sauce to the chicken. The tuna mayo was much better but again, I could not taste any mayo. I was biting into chunks of plain tuna which was not pleasant. Overall, I don’t think I would visit again. It’s worth the...

I was so thrilled when I saw the new Kokoro branch in Linden recently! I know the one in Rivonia well, and now there is one on our doorstep!

This store sells the most wonderful Korean, Japanese and Asian ingredients, which you don't find elsewhere. Their Gochujang is particularly excellent (I buy the Sempio brand, which is sweeter and somewhat less spicy than others). This branch even serves meals for lunch and early dinner. While I am yet to try their meals, their kimchi and Onigiri are amazing! It was such a treat to find Onigiri there. I last had it in Japan, and it tastes just like the ones there.
