I phoned in an order and was told one hour later that it was delivered and I paid for it. We have security cameras at our gate and unless the delivery guy is invisible no one came to deliver. When I spoke to the driver, he insisted that I took the pizza. Then the manager/owner told me I got the pizza and it will not disolved by arguing and he wanted to know if he can send me “another” pizza. What I do not understand is why on earth would I fight about a pizza I suposedly got and paid for at delivery? Who does that? The driver even told me that I (me he is talking too) told him that “I” did not know my son ordered a pizza and paid for it.(my son is not even at home he is at a camp 3 hours away without a phone and has been sonce 10:00 this morning) So if I ordered a pizza how do I not remember ordering it and then blame my son. The only person who was friendly and tried to help was the lady who answered the phone. She at least understood how rediculous this whole experiense was. Unless you spend ages reading every poster and advert in the shop? Nothing in the small print says that a person needs to tell the cashier they want the special at the time of payment. Needles to say, when I asked for my 2Lt cold drink and I was prepared to pay I had my card or cash ready, I was told I did not tell them upfront, so I am not permitted to receive the special. Shop didnt put full order in bag they handed over to us from order number. Getting home, ,living 14 km away from shop, we discoverd we had only receive half a bag, we phoned to notify manager we didnt receive all our food ordered and paid for.
